All proceeds go directly into the development and maintenance of one of New Zealand’s most historical and thriving creative spaces. With a long reputation in supporting local artisans and providing a platform for Whangarei’s creative community, we hope you will bid, and help The Quarry Arts Centre continue its creative mission!
All plates are available to view in The Great Plate Exhibition at Yvonne Rust Gallery at The Quarry Arts Centre, 21 Selwyn Ave, The Avenues, Whangarei from 9.30am — 4.30pm, Mon — Sat. We are located just off Western Hills Drive opposite Burger King and Caltex!!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
