Missing elderly gentleman cat

Ruth from Glendowie

Missing from Kildare Ave since last night (24th October). If you see him PLEASE make contact with us. His name is Robin (like the BeeGees) but he's not great at answering to it.

We have a new elderly gentleman cat (8 years old) who has lived his entire life inside.
Last night (24th October) he escaped outside and we can't find him.
We have only had him 5 weeks and he does not know the area at all.

He is VERY food motivated and we hoped that he would find his way home but no joy.

He is microchipped but is not wearing a collar but he has quite a large bald patch where his collar was.
He is also slightly bow legged and has an unusual tail that curls up back over his body when he is happy.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
