We are urgently seeking an Examination Centre Manager to run the NCEA and NZ Scholarship examinations in 2022.

The smooth and successful running of an exam centre is important for all students participating in these examinations.

The position begins with NZQA training and would require you to complete several administrative tasks to plan and prepare for the exams from August to October. You would also need to be available to work for the entire exam period (Monday 7 November to Friday 2 December).

A high level of organisational skills with great attention to detail, strength in following processes precisely, confidence leading people of all ages, proficiency in using a computer, and learning to use new computer programmes are essential qualities for this role.

Can anyone please help with transporting supplies to the Tokoroa dog shelter?

Hello Neighbours
I’ve collating donations for the SWDC dog shelter (near-expiry food; towels, blankets, plastic beds, toys, etc). There’s enough already to fill a 4-wheel drive or big ute but, at least, a BIG boot full. It would be great to get this to the shelter (esp. the short-dated food) ASAP

If you have spare / unused stretcher beds, plastic dog baskets, bedding, food, metal food bowls, leads, collars, toys, etc which you'd like to donate, please contact me, many thanks
