Glendowie OSCARS located at the Glendowie School Hall is open for bookings for the summer holiday programme 2020

The activities are varied each day, from trips to the ice cream factory, rainbows end and rocket ropes, to movie days, crafts and swimming

Bookings are open to all children in year 0-8. Bookings are essential and are all completed online.

Glendowie OSCARSis approved by the Ministry of Social Development to provide out of school care.
Family discounts and early bird discounts are available.
Fee subsidies are available through work and income to families that meet the criteria.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
