THE GLENDOWIE SOCIAL BADMINTON CLUB
IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS.
WE PLAY EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT 7.30-9.30 pm (from 8th April 2018)
At Glendowie College, Crossfield Road, old gym hall.
Having fun and exercise!!
We are a group of 20 to 30 members, males and females, young and old (18-65), all of different grades, who love to play badminton, and have a laugh.
The Club has been going for over 25 years.
We are presently some members short and invite you to come along and have a look/play, especially if you played badminton, tennis or squash before.
The club starts again on Thursday night the 5th of April 2018, from 7.30 to 9.30 pm and finishes on the last Thursday of November.
Fees: Year $80 (April to end Nov.), casual per night $5.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
