Being a community radio station, East FM is not political, but for two hours this Sunday morning we’ll be talking about the results of this Saturday’s New Zealand general election, being described as the most important in our nation’s history.

I’ll report the polling day results from across the country, talk live to candidates who stood in East Auckland electorate races, and provide analysis of what has been a very long and exhausting campaign – in these unsettling and challenging Covid-19 times.

Station manager Mike Rowse will produce the East FM Election Special, in the show slot that he usually DJ’s the Rockin’ Breakfast.
