Maybe wanting a pragmatic way of learning to calm down and not be so reactive at home or at work. They might be tormented by anxious thoughts which they know are not rational, and have heard that mindfulness can help. Maybe a particular physical challenge that they are grappling with – an illness or pain or sleep problems or want to reduce their blood pressure. Or just simply want to get to know themselves a bit more, and have heard that mindfulness can offer a useful map for this exploration.
If you are wanting to just have a taste of mindfulness to see if it can help, come and try some initial training and see if it makes sense to you.
I run a friendly little group. I teach gentle movement suitable for any body & peaceful stillness.
The first session is free then it is by donation.
