Great news from Don, reported property crime declined around 4.5% compared to the reported incidents in May. The decline was directly associated to burgary complaints with around 61% of reports associated to "vehicle crime". There's good news - 6 stolen vehicles were recovered in Maungakiekie during May. Don has detailed 2 incidents he was called out to of mail theft via letterboxes. - the outcome of the first is in the newsletter but .....
In the next instance he mentions a local resident in Royal Oak noticed this also one day and called Police . The person kept their distance watching ... I'll leave you to read the rest in the newsletter so please keep an eye out neighbours " from a distance" - stay safe.
