Why not come to Somervell Playgroup in Somervell Church on Thursday. We welcome you to our small, friendly playgroup between 9.30am - noon every Thursday. Please bring morning tea for your child and a gold coin donation. Music is at 10am and is led by a teacher from our kindergarten - Uplands, which is also located in Somervell Church. Why not come and join us? Plenty of on site parking.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
