MyTask - Hire local professionals & earn extra money.
Hi Neighbours!
My name's Michael and I'm the co-founder of MyTask. We're an Auckland based app startup which recently partnered with Yellow New Zealand.
We allow users to post 'Tasks' (all for free) to our platform, which notifies local 'Taskers' nearby that can facilitate your one-off job. On the flip-side, if you see any Tasks that you're able to complete yourself then you can make an offer on those to help locals out.
For instance, instead of spending 30 mins ringing around for a Plumber/Electrician for quotes etc - post your Task on MyTask which will notify those tradies nearby that you need a hand.
At the moment we even have an Aucklander who is willing to pay someone $1800 to travel to LA to sample burgers.
Post a Task in the month of May (cleaning, gardening, painting, furniture assembly etc) and you'll also go in the draw to win $1000.
Any questions, please let me know and I'll be happy to facilitate. We can be found on all App Stores or at www.mytask.co.nz... - Appreciate your support in helping this local startup shine.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
