Onehunga Post Office Upgrade
Great to see the approval of $10,000 towards the former Onehunga Post Office that will complete a structural upgrade of the building - essential for its long-term survival.
Did you know the first post office building was shipped from Russel and re-erected in Queen Street (now Onehunga Mall) in 1850, then a new building was opened in 1902, which is what we see today!
