Postponement of Manukau East Shopping Shuttle

Manukau East Council of Social Services (MECOSS), regret to advise that because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty surrounding restrictions placed on our service, the Manukau East Shopping Shuttle will not run on Thursday, 20 August and Thursday, 27 August.
If you or anyone you know, requires help obtaining groceries during COVID-19 Alert Level 3, the Student Volunteer Army has activated its pandemic response service to assist people in need. Please call them on 0800 005 902 Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
