SPCA Op Shop Callout
Hello Neighbours.
The sun is shining and it's the perfect time for a bit of spring cleaning and decluttering before the holiday season which will be upon us before we know it. The SPCA is always in need of good clean sellable items for our op shop in Browns Bay. We need lot's of summer clothing for adults and kids, and we are always in need of books, cd's, dvd's kitchenware (especially cutlery) and general bric a brac and knick knacks. We also take furniture which can be picked up from you. All profits from our store go directly to helping the animals and with the kitten season looming the SPCA needs all the help they can get. We are very lucky to have so many animal lovers who support us on the Norh Shore. We are extremely grateful to you all. Our efforts would not be possible without you. If you would like to help out please feel free to phone us

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
