Dare to Rest? Learn an effective form of meditation

Cheryl Farthing from The Yoga Studio

iRest® Yoga Nidra is a simple form of meditation designed for modern day living. Everyone needs a way to feel at ease when life gets challenging. iRest (which stands for integrative restoration) helps you tap into a place that is calm - even when life is not.

It is easy to learn, easy to do, and it can be done by anyone. In this course, you will learn the 10 tools of iRest, and be supported with 8 guided audio recordings and a workbook and weekly support emails.

iRest is evidence-based and has been researched in US army veterans hospitals across the US for the last 10 years. It combines mindfulness, ancient yoga techniques, and Western medical knowledge. Some people use iRest to relax when life gets busy. Others use it to help heal from serious trauma, stress, insomnia, depression, PTSD, chronic pain and chemical dependency.

Courses begin wed 17 Oct 1 - 2.30pm or Sunday 20 oct 4 - 5.30pm
