Spring has finally sprung. Greet it by putting your best (and most colourful) paw forward 🌸
If you managed to do any Spring Cleaning clear-outs during lockdown, we are pleased to announce we can safely start accepting your donated goods at our SPCA Op Shops again (except for Auckland) now we are in Alert Level 2.
When you shop or donate with us, not only are you shopping sustainably by buying secondhand, but the money you spend in store contributes to helping New Zealand’s abandoned, abused and neglected animals, so you can feel good while you shop!
Find your nearest Op Shop, get contact details and check opening hours at www.spca.nz...

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
