Noisy Night roadworks Union & Wellington streets

CCRG from Auckland City Centre Residents' Group - CCRG

Stand By Union & Wellington Streets residents for noisy night works x8
AT have upcoming asphalt resurfacing work taking place on Union and Wellington Streets. This involves the milling/removal of the old surface and replacement. No footpath renewals though. As usual.
(isn't it interesting how terrible the footpaths can get but rarely any works to improve them in this area...)
The work is scheduled to start on Sunday 7th January and will take eight nights to complete.
Can't have any 'disruption on the network' just disruption all night to residents instead. How about Auckland Transport shares the pain - 50/50 between residents and 'the network'? A plan for 2024?

Poll: Have you ever been bullied?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.

This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.

Have you or your whānau ever experienced bullying? Share your thoughts on Pink Shirt Day below.

Type 'Not For Print' if you wish your comments to be excluded from the Conversations column of your local paper.
