Hello everyone hope all have had a good and safe Christmas and newyears. Reason for my post is my landlord is moving back to nz and wants to move into his property which we have rented the past couple of years, we are needing a place suitable for myself my partner and our new baby so two bedrooms plus would be preferred, anything with parking or better yet garage would be ideal. A house or townhouse is what we are needing not apartment. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
