Online: Local water quality meeting
The Ōrākei and Waitematā local boards are hosting this community online meeting to discuss the proposed extension and increase of the Water Quality Targeted Rate and how this will address pollution and improve water quality in local harbours, beaches and streams including Hobson Bay.
The event includes a short presentation on the topic and then Q&A with the audience.
All are most welcome to attend.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
