Members of the public have helped to christen Auckland Police's new puppy Etu.
Police appealed to the public last week for suggestions for a name starting with E for their latest canine recruit.

Hi Neighbours, Making a big difference to lives in the south was a top priority in Auckland's 2012 visionary plan. Despite hard work on the ground, is the promise fulfilled? Read the story below:
Hi neighbours, we will start selling fresh xmas trees on Sunday 29th Nov, first trees ready from 10.30am onwards.
The trees are great again this year, full & beautiful, plus all sizes.
There is parking in our driveway & our next door neighbours driveway at #17, or park on the street where you can & we can help carry your tree to your car if needed. (there are road works right outside our house)
There is also a school carpark opposite us which might be available to park in too.
We will be open everyday from 8am until late.
