Public Viewing Decks end of Princes Wharf - Reopened!

CCRG from Auckland City Centre Residents' Group - CCRG

Yes, these wonderful public decks on Level 1 at the far end of Princes Wharf are open again 6am to 11.30pm - perfect on these sunny days, and plenty of room (and some seating) for L3 distancing. The views are spectacular. Access stairs (and some very small signs) aren't too hard to find if you know what to look for.
These decks are part of the Resource consent for the Princes Wharf development - a Bonus Floor Provision where developers are permitted to get extras for their development (usually more floor space and/or taller buildings) in return for providing the public with things like viewing decks, art, through site access/shortcuts etc.

A great map of these City centre public/private agreements is here: bit.ly...

The Waitemata Local Board did an easy to read report here: bit.ly...
