Come along to our community meeting

David Seymour from David Seymour - MP for Epsom

Hi Neighbours,

As your local MP, I hold regular community meetings with informative speakers on a range of timely topics. We have hosted ambassadors, the Mayor, Reserve Bank Governors, animal welfare advocates and IRD tax experts.

Each year, I invite councillors serving the Epsom electorate to give a report on council activities. The decisions of the Council are often felt more acutely than those of central government, so it is important to hear from those making those decisions on our behalf.

On 24 July, I will be hosting Desley Simpson, the Auckland Councillor for the Orakei Ward at the Somervell Presbyterian Church 497 Remuera Road. The meeting will begin at 2:00pm, with light refreshments available from 1:30pm.

I do hope that you will be able to join me at what promises to be a most interesting presentation.

I am accepting pre-submitted questions so we can maximise the time available. Please email your questions to mpepsom@parliament.govt.nz.

Please register quickly to secure your place. You can register by calling 09 522 7464 or emailing mpepsom@parliament.govt.nz. Please note there is very limited parking available at the venue.

I do hope you will be able to join.

Authorised by David Seymour, Parliament Buildings, Wellington.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
