Learn a new language at Parnell Community Centre

Parnell Community Centre’s popular language series returns in February 2020! We teach six different languages at a variety of skill levels to support your language learning journey from the very beginning through to fluency.

This term we're introducing a brand new class - Te Reo Maori and Tikanga Maori. This class is suitable for absolute beginners or those with a small amount of knowledge of Te Reo.

In term 1 and 2 we're also offering:

French: Beginners, Post Beginners, Intermediate + French for Travellers

German: Beginners + Post Beginners

Italian: Beginners, Post Beginners, Intermediate + Advanced Conversation

Portuguese: Beginners + Post Beginners

Spanish: Beginners, Post Beginners + Intermediate

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
