MetService has issued a strong wind watch for the following:
Central Otago and Southern Lakes.
Valid: 12 hours from 6:00pm Thursday to 6:00am Friday.
Forecast: Northwest gales may become severe in exposed places.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 9:00pm Wednesday 11 Sep 2019.
