MetService has issued a heavy rain watch for Northland.
Valid: 20 hours from 8:00am Tuesday to 4:00am Wednesday.
Forecast: Periods of heavy rain. Rainfall amounts may approach warning criteria, mainly in the east.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 9:00pm Monday 2 Sep 2019.
