room in our home for rent
We are retired teachers, originally from America, living in one of the grand old Ponsonby villas. Our kids are grown and gone (well, most of the time) and so we rent out their bedrooms (which come with beds and sheets and towels and the occasional chocolate chip cookie from the old fashioned oven in the shared kitchen). Casual, warm atmosphere with an international flavor...good people coming through the place to visit from time to time...would suit a single student or overseas visitor. If you are a non-smoker, not allergic to a cat called Michi, and need a room in a safe and friendly environment close to the CBD, email us at <12trinitystreet@gmail.com>

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens arenβt seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days β the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, whoβs made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
