KiwiRail is working in your neighbourhood | 7 and 8 July
Our KiwiRail team will be in your neighbourhood cleaning the ‘ballast’ (the stones under the railway tracks) to make sure it continues to drain well and hold the tracks firmly in place. To work safely and efficiently, we need to do some of this cleaning at night when there are fewer trains on the line. If you live along the railway you’ll notice some noise.
