Looking for something fun to entertain the kids before they head back to school next week? Why not take the family down to the Entertainment Hub on Queens Wharf to enjoy all the festivities and experience the atmosphere of a big event happening right here in Auckland!

There is a Barfoot & Thompson Kid’s Fun Zone, with large inflatable rides and giant games suitable for kids of all ages, and it’s all free! There is also a café and deck chairs scattered around the area for those who want to just relax.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
