Word Explorers: A Two-Day Literacy Adventure!
For students aged 11–14
9.30 am – 3 pm | 11 + 12 December
Morning tea provided | $225 per person for two days

Our school holiday workshop is run by qualified teachers, to allow your child the chance to unlock the magic of words!

Our Word Explorers blends literacy skills, creativity, and confidence-building — all in a fun, supportive environment led by qualified teachers.

Across two engaging days, students will:
- Increase their reading fluency and practise reading aloud and 1:1
- Discover how prefixes, suffixes, and root words shape meaning
- Strengthen reading and writing skills through creative and opinion pieces
- Enjoy word games and team challenges
- Visit the local library for an interactive reading quest
- Build friendships and confidence through collaborative learning

With small group sizes (maximum 6 students per class) every learner gets the attention and encouragement they need. All you need to pack are their favourite reading books and a lunch!

Limited spots available, register early to secure your place at www.enricheducation.co.nz...

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
