Lost cockatiel

Our pet cockatiel Angel has gone missing on Sunday 21st April at around 4:30pm. She is lost in the area of Panama Road Mount Wellington. Angel is three years old and has a grey and white body with a yellow tail and crest. She loves to whistle and play peekaboo. She likes to land on people’s heads. Please contact either 0211036565 or 0211436835 if you see any sightings of her. She is a much loved family member.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
