The CROTCHETS men's choir
Do you enjoy singing? Do you own a long sleeved white shirt? And of course, are you a man? Well, come and join the choir - we will supply the music, and the bowtie to wear with the white shirt! We meet at 6 North Street, Feilding, at 1pm Tuesdays, and have a cuppa and chat after the practise. Once a month (most months ) we join the Feilding Music Society for a concert, open to the public (That's why the white shirt is required.) This is a relaxed, cheerful group, with anything from trained singers to 'can't read music but am enthusiastic'. Phone 324 0457.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
