The Waikato Interfaith Council and EarthDiverse will hold their annual Interfaith Service this weekend on Sunday 29 October from 3-5pm at Lady Goodfellow Chapel, Gate 1, University of Waikato, Knighton Rd, Hamilton. Members from each of our various faith and belief communities (Bahá'í, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh) will offer short prayers, readings, songs and silence, and appeals for the end of violence will be made. The Waikato Interfaith Choir will also perform. All are invited. This event is free and open to the public.

The tracks in this case are on the Te Awa River Ride, the new cycle and walking trail that runs alongside the Waikato River. A section of the route, between central Cambridge and the Grassroots Trust Velodrome, is in the process of becoming a grand outdoor art gallery.
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
