Hi everyone, my name is Daisy and I’m a volunteer Daffodil Day area coordinator for East Coast Bays on the North Shore. We are recruiting volunteer collectors to help with a two-hour slot in East Coast Bays on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th of August. Like many of us, we know of family and friends living with cancer or have gone through a rough time with the disease. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
