Your local Red Cross Shop needs your help 😁

If you are currently or planning to do your spring cleaning, and have a lot of stuff that needs to go out but are still good. Why not recycle by donating those items us? We accept all kinds of donations from homewares, clothes, shoes, and even electronics as long as they are working 😅

Your local Red Cross shop is located on 191 Karangahape Road, and we are open from 9am to 530pm during weekdays and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
