Orewa beach destruction
Pretty sure many of us are worried about Orewa Beach future in regards of coastal erosion.
Anyone can see water and sand are destroying lawns, trees, pathways right now. Something needs to be done urgently!
But all activities I can see in Orewa - building more and more luxurious apartment complexes (including retirement ones), changing road signs, extending boulevard for another hundred meters etc...
Am I the only one thinking that money poured into road changes, traffic lights and stuff like this could have a better use?
Is there an activist group trying to get this warning message to authorities?
