Kia ora Waikanae!

A heads up that a drone operator will be flying over Waikanae on Thursday and Friday evening to hunt out leaky water pipes (weather permitting).
This great technology uses thermal imaging to get a picture of what’s happening with our underground water pipes.
So if you see a drone flying down your street, don’t be alarmed. The thermal imaging cameras are designed to see where cool water is leaking into warm summer ground. They won’t be surveying private property, and can’t see into homes or cars.
