Ponsonby Park - Budget submission process

Jennifer from Ponsonby

If you've never made a submission to a Council consultation before, then now's good! It will only take a minute!
Please make a submission to help reinvigorate Ponsonby, to be part of the democratic process, and to show that you're involved in your local community! A Trifecta of achievement 💚
Copy and paste the link below:

akhaveyoursay.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz...

And if you want the short version, then go straight to Question 6 to say that you: "Support Ponsonby Park, the new civic space at 254 Ponsonby Road, and it's time to create a beautiful and welcoming community space now."
Along with the other areas of concern that you may want to support.
Thank you 🙏🏻 🙂

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
