My Resene Colour Your Community nomination
The under-pass from Johnsonville Rd to the motorway is in dire need of some colour. There was a project with the WCC to paint it with pictures but has not been implemented so far. This is a dark, colourless area that's in desperate need of some new paint.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
