Lockdown job to do at home.
Now is a good time to prune your citrus trees and it’s another great lockdown job to get you outside and tick off your “to do” list.
Trim to the desired shape using sharp tools. Thinning will allow light through your tree, and help your yummy fruit to ripen.
The Borer Moth doesn’t fly till about October, so the risk of your tree being infected by the pest is greatly reduced if you get it done soon.
