Statutory manager appointed at Wesley College to 'assist' school board

Kia ora neighbours, a statutory manager has been called in to help the board of Wesley College.

The school’s principal, Dr Brian Evans, said the Ministry of Education had appointed Dr Shane Edwards to “assist the board around curriculum management and policies and procedures.”

”We welcome this support as we feel it will assist us in our progress towards being an exemplary model of change,” Evans said in an online message to parents.
