Dead Birds In Linwood Park
Hello, Neighbours
Yesterday during my walk around Linwood Park I found three dead birds. Two - a starling and a goldfinch - were under one of the large pine trees by Linwood Avenue, and the third (not sure of the type) under a tree near the Randolph Street bridge on the other side of the park. All were in varying states of decay. Do people know if this could be due to human poisoning, natural deaths, or perhaps those malicious magpies, that kill other birds? I presume the magpies are beginning to nest and are nastier than usual.
