Programme Co-ordinator
We require an empathetic person to run our After School and Holiday Programmes. These are specifically for children with disabilities. Additional hours in our Community Day Programme for adults may also be available.
The successful application must be:
• Fit and strong
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Utilize and further develop strong leadership and management skills.
• Be part of an energetic team.
• Be a team player.
• Be prepared to make a difference to the lives of children that attend our programmes.
• Full, clean drivers licence essential.
• Must have a sense of humour and have the ability to go with the flow.
The hours for this position: Approx 30 hours per week during the school term and 40 hours per week during holiday programme.
The hours during school term are 12pm-6:00pm, with possible additional hours for administration, training, and meetings. Holiday Programme hours are between the hours of 7:30am – 6:00pm.
Our ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent people management and relationship skills, strong planning and organisational skills.
Experience in working with children and adults with a disability is an advantage but not essential.
Continuing on-the-job training will be given, including child protection training.
The successful applicant will need to return a satisfactory Police Check before commencement of Employment.
