St Heliers Centre

๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒUPDATE ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ
Even though we have been blessed with rain โ˜”๏ธ Trick the Light will still be going ahead this evening - we will be making use of the Glendowie Community Centre buildings, there will still be lollies, face painting, cakes, sausages and entertainment but it doesnโ€™t look like we will be bouncing on the bouncy castle today. See you all later๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ

Don't forget to come along and join in the family fun Halloween Event at Glendowie Centre, Crossfield Reserve.
We will have games, entertainment, bouncy castle , face painting, costume parade, food and treats for all.
We have Cherry the Clown ๐Ÿคก and the Ukulele Rebels coming to keep us all entertained and we will be firing up the barbie from 4:30pm
A fun and family friendly, space to enjoy Halloween during these unusual times.
The Glendowie Centre has a QR code, Contact Tracing will be possible and hand sanitiser available.

How does 9 days without your phone sound?

Eve from Eve Rudkin Mindfulness

Hi Neighbours, I was lucky enough to spend 9 days recently training in mindfulness - no phone, no news, almost no talk - just paying attention to my experience, at a peaceful off-grid centre in the Coromandel.

It was pretty amazing, but I don't suggest you try that length at first, what about starting with an hour?

Come and soothe body and mind with a small group for a gentle mindfulness session of ease and peace. The session includes gentle movement and relaxing simple meditation.

Next one is on Tue 7th of May 1 - 2.15pm, Meadowbank Community Centre. Come and see what it is like! Contact me - the first session free, then Koha welcome. 021 255 1485

Click Read More to find out more about what I do - I also offer one-on-one mental wellbeing sessions and custom courses for group bookings.

Dazzling Paws Dog Grooming Orakei Bay Village Remuera

Cindy from Dazzling Paws Dog Grooming

Meet Sammy! Initially, he was a bundle of nerves during grooming sessions. But now, he's all smiles and wagging tails! It's indeed heartwarming to see him enjoying the pampering. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ’•
