Recommended Company - Rubbish Removal

Dawn Neighbourly Lead from Johnsonville

Since a lot of us are using the warmer weather and more daylight hours to get some much needed clean up done, thought I would tell you about our encounter with a local rubbish removal company.

We did a big clean up of our garage and looked at skip prices, for what we needed would be quite pricey and another few hours work for us. Like many, we are time poor and looked around for another alternative. We found one!!

The company is called 'Junk n dump' - they take care of EVERYTHING they take it all away (including building material, whiteware, furniture etc) and sort it to recycle what they can, pass items that are useful onto charity and dump the rest reducing what goes to the tip!! And to top it off they are very reasonably priced!!

They are friendly, extremely efficient and even swept the floor of our garage, they cleared our rubbish within 45 minutes!! They aren't on Neighbourly (yet) but can be found with on facebook www.facebook.com... or call Manny on 022 167 9027, they give free quotes and are very quick with any communication. I absolutely recommend!!

Attached is a before and after picture of our garage, I am in no way associated with the company just joe bloggs public who was very impressed with their service and believe in keeping things local (they are Tawa based) and love they way they do things, knowing items were being recycled and reused where possible.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
