Miramar Playgroup is starting back for Term 4 on Wednesday the 14th. Come along and enjoy good company, food and some creative activities for the kids. Runs from 9:30am - 11:30am each Wednesday. Gold coin donation plus a piece of fruit for shared morning tea. All are welcome!
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
