Para Kai - Miramar Peninsula home composting trial

Wellington City Council

If you live on the Miramar Peninsula and are not an active composter, then we would love to have you sign up to our home composting trial!

You will be given a FREE compost bin, worm farm or bokashi system for your food waste.
Information from the trial will help us to develop a city-wide solution to reducing food waste going to the landfill.

There are limited spaces available so if you are interested please enrol right away!

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
