EarthDiverse Term 3 Courses on Religious Diversity, Language & World Mythology
EarthDiverse is pleased to announce its Term 3 lineup of language, religious diversity and World Mythology courses beginning the week of Monday 27 July. Language classes on offer this Term are Arabic 101 & 102; Hebrew 101 & 201; Hindi 101, 103 and 201; and Urdu 103. Religious Diversity classes on offer this Term are ʻReligious Fundamentalism, Extremism & Terrorism’ and ʻWorld Religions: Hinduism.’ Our newest series of courses on World Mythology & Storytelling begins this Term with a course entitled ‘Grand Narratives and Mythologies in the Western Traditions.’ Both in-person and distance-learning options are available with on-line live-streaming and video-recorded sessions from our classroom available so that learners can decide how and when they choose to study. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
