Northland Tunnel closure
We are at the stage of the Northland Tunnel project where we are ready to waterproof and repaint the crown.
To complete this work, the tunnel will need to be closed as cars cannot safely pass the crew and their scaffolding.
From Monday 22 June – Monday 6 July 2020 the tunnel will be closed between 7am - 10pm for the painting.
From Monday 6 July – Friday 31 July 2020 the tunnel will be down to one lane between 9am – 3pm, controlled by traffic lights, to paint the sides.
Buses will be diverted through Randwick Road, and temporary bus stops will be in place:
