CANCELLATION- Upper Hutt March Repair Cafe Sat 21st & Volunteer Meeting Thurs 26th

Regrettably Upper Hutt March Repair Café this Saturday has now been CANCELLED, along with the Volunteer Meeting next week.

With recent developments we no longer felt confident we could put together a successful event, while also respecting the need for social distancing at this time.

Instead please continue to follow our updates on Neighbourly, www.facebook.com... and we encourage all potential volunteers to register with us by emailing uhrepaircafe@gmail.com.

We appreciate your understanding- please continue to hold on to your broken treasures for the immediate future.

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
