Church pews - free, now. Island Bay Presbyterian. Handy people, woodworkers, church builders?
Do you know someone who may have use for church pews? They are being removed before 1 Feb unless they are taken before then. They are not solid wood, but wood veneer. To get an idea of what they are like, go to www.ibpc.org.nz... (There are two images of the pews). They can be split in half. If you're interested, please email office@ibpc.org.nz. 383 8699 (Replied to on Tuesday). Prefer all to go at once but will give them away singly. Thank you.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
