November 2019 Report from KCA
Sincerest thanks to our sponsors and the general public who donated goods to KCA in the month of November 2019.
In the month of November our volunteers packed and redistributed 15,255.95kgs (over 15.2 tons) of food in the Greater Wellington region (Hutt, Wellington City and Porirua). Plus 174 banana boxes of clothing, shoes, and homewares plus chest of drawers, baby bath, baby stroller x 2, pram and highchair.
This stock was shared with agencies such as Salvation Army Porirua Foodbank, Salvation Army Lower Hutt Foodbank, St Vincent de Paul Porirua Foodbank, St Annes Pantry Foodbank, Newlands Foodbank, Natone Park School, Porirua Activity Centre to name a few.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
